Dear guildmaster of Empowered!
I am an 18 year-old student from Sweden who's looking for a new guild to start raiding. I have experience from medium core progression raiding in Cataclysm. But when basically all my friends quit playing I did too for a while but now I'm back and applying to join your roster. If I get accepted to join the trial period I will not make you regret it, I will bring my A-game to every raid and try to be as good of a friend to you as I can be.

Thank you in advance!

c) Multi-target/aoe: Bloodthirst, Whirlwind, Raging Blow, Dragon's Breath on CD
6. Relevant addons for your role: Tidyplates, OmniCC,

7. Stat priority
How do u prio stats from gear/enchants/gems? Hit and Expertise cap, then full out crit. 320 crit gems in all slots where the socket bonus is not good enough to cancel out.

8. Professions
Empowered require raiders to have/get 2 max level professions that benefit their mainspec in raids.
Which professions do u have atm, and/or which profession will u adopt to better benefit your raid mainspec? Enchanting/Skinning. Both at 600. Another crafting profession instead of skinning will benefit me slightly.

Wotlk/ICC @ 80: About half of Naxx 25
Cataclysm experience @85: Every normal boss in the relevant tier. A few HC bosses in each tier

Additional information that u feel is relevant for the application.

16. UI picture
Link picture of your raid ui

18. Preparation
How do you prepare for new raids/raid bosses that u havent killed before?
Look up a video explaining the tactics

19. Behavior
we has some simple rules and codes of conduct. We expect all members to know of these rules, and to act accordingly. These are to make sure we all are on the same page, and that we don't offend ppl out of ignorance or spite. Also, how do u handle not getting invited to a raid? If I get the reason explained to me, I'm ok with it
20. World of logs
If u have world of logs link that shows your performance on some fights, plx link it here.
21. Where did u hear that we are recruting? Trade chat

A good application will have much higher chance to merit an invitation.

Fix: Bandwidth is obviously inverted... 25 down and 7 up is what it's supposed to be

Thanks for applying to Empowered
i'm abit worried about your current gear, but i guess it would be something we could fix easilly. Overall your application does seem quite good and well written - thats a plus.

I'm curious how you can say that you will do more dps than the average dps' as your warrior character looks fairly new - to play a role / class slightly perfect, you kinda need some experience on it.

We will return to you, as soon as we have discussed your application.

I'm always curious about people's responses such as "I can pull more dps than the average player" that to me shows you have some confidence in your ability which is good. But with your MOP experience ranging only from LFR its difficult to say your better than other players, everyone knows LFR is for the part time casual raider. We are not looking for a part time raider. Dedicated raiders are what we need, it would be nice to see if you have that :) overall not too bad application

An additional point would be your proffs:

You have skinning and stated that having a second crafting proff would only benefit me slightly. I can say that there is more than a slight difference to this. Instead its a major difference. An example of this would be Jewelcrafting:

A standard strength gem is +160 to a slot (Bold Primordial Ruby)
A Jewelcrafter strength gem is +320 to any 2 red slots (Bold Serpents Eye)

By taking jewelcrafting you can have the equivalent of 4 +160 strength gems in 2 gem slots. That is more than a slight difference.

As Wingria says, claim that you can do more DPS than the average player does show a fair degree of confidence, but ....

It is a big claim/boast to make, and 1 that you will need to ensure that you can live upto. In Wrath, while I was a better than average player, by no means was I the best. However, I maximised everything I could, including getting a second crafting profession to maximise my spellpower (as it was then, now it's intellect).

Wingria will be able to say what my usual position in the DPS chart was, but another thing to think about is raid awareness. For instance. On my warlock, I kept healers in a seperate frame, and if I saw 1 in trouble, IE, getting hit by adds, I would stop and soulstone them. For you, it would be a case of Intervene (do warriors have that skill still?) to take the add(s) away from the healer. Also moving away from fire, etc ....

On a side note, I've noted that you said that you put crit gems in all your gem slots where possible. Isn't that a DPS loss? Strength would be the stat of choice (IMO) as the more you have, the harder you hit. However, I've not played a warrior beyond level 29, so I'm not exactly sure about that.

I do agree that that statement might have been a bit bold.
Me playing a warrior is not new, I played a dps warrior through almost all of Cataclysm, but on another server and on another character. I agree that my gear is not the best but give it a few weeks and I will be up to par with the others, until then I will do my best to stay as high on the meters as I can

Accepted for trial, make sure you do anything to put effort in your character.
Atm a Christmas Break is coming up, but there will be some social raids during that time.

Whisper any officer for invite !
